These are just a few. I'm spending much more time on Facebook than the blog and have 1,000's more pictures there.

Adoption Domestication and Official Name Change
What a nerve-racking day!!! We had Matthew's adoption domesticated which means that his adoption in Guatemala is officially recognized in the state of Indiana. We also had his name officially changed to Matthew Marlon Antonio Adamczyk......whew, what a day!!
We had to appear in court, take turns on the witness stand, and answer questions. We went there with the belief that it would be an administrative thing and, WOW, were we wrong!!!!! I don't recall ever being more intimidated, not ever. I show up wearing shorts, my shirt was not tucked in, and I was wearing leather sandals. I looked like I was going to a Jimmy Buffett concert. Our attorney even apologized to the judge for my appearance.
Now.....we just have to wait for his new birth certificate and then we can get his social security card and his citizenship papers with his new and correct name. Although, I don't believe we need to worry about the citizenship papers since he will have an Indiana birth certificate....I hope.
Love,
Todd

We are on Spring Break this week!!! Amber has taken extra hours at work and I am here with the three stooges.....alone....all week. To make a long story short, I keep repeating this bible verse:
Proverbs 23: 13-14
We need to find an activity that the kids will enjoy so I won't need to put my bible verse to use. I'm sure we'll find something fun... and I will take some good pictures.

Updates - March 12, 2009
It's getting harder and harder to find time to do updates to the blog. Here's the latest:
Patrick: He got in a fight at school about a week ago. A kid kept giving him crap, about a weeks worth, and Patrick snapped and beat the mess out of him. I'm glad I've been taking him to wrestling practice with me!!
Matthew: He is doing very well in school and is looking foreward to the start of his soccer season. He also learned how to ride his bike without the training wheels. The exciting thing about that is that he never rode a bike until last November when he came home.
Jillian: I am proud of my little Tom-Boy!! She is much tougher than the boys... and much smarter. So far, school has come easy for her and so has anything requiring athletic skill.

L O N G Overdue updates
I'm sorry for slacking on the blog but life is busy with 3 children ages 6, 5, and 4!!!
Updates......
Patrick: is loving kindergarten and is really looking foreward to first grade. He is really growing and changing every day. He has taken an interest in Transformers, Star Wars, SpongeBob, and anything that I am doing.
Jillian: has shown an interest in the piano so Amber has been showing her very basic things. She is also geeked up for soccer season to start this spring. Of all three kids, Jill is my better athlete. Matthew: is adjusting better than we ever would have dreamed. He can hold a conversation in english quite well, ties his own shoes, LOVES pre-school, and is Patrick's shadow.
