1st Day of School

Today was Matthew's first day of school. He was afraid at first and threw a little fit, but now, he won't stop talking about it. He cannot wait for Friday to go again. We are hoping that he has overcome his fear of school. When we told him he was going to school, the only response he had was tears and, "no quiero Guate." He has associated school with Guatemala.

On a down side, ALL of the immunizations that he had on his records were false. The blood tests came back and he has not had ONE. We are disappointed that his immunization records are false and that he must start a series of multiple immunizations to get caught up. The poor baby will be a pin cushion once a month for several months.

Glad to hear that Matthew's first day of school went well! That's FABULOUS!

Totally sucks about the immunizations. Poor little guy!!!

Big hug to all of you! Stay warm. I hear it's cold already....

That really, really is a bummer about the shots. The poor kid is going to hate going to the doctor. (Then again, my eldest 2 associate shots with McDonalds afterwards...just an idea!)

I'm glad to hear that he enjoyed school so well. I imagine school here is much different than it was in Guatemala. Can't wait for the next update!

Okay, I tried to comment and then my computer acted up...

That really, really, really stinks about the shot records being falsified. Poor Matthew! He's going to hate going to the doctor for the rest of this life because of this! (Then again...my eldest two associate shots with McDonalds afterwards - just a thought)

That is awesome that he likes school so far. I imagine that school is much different here than it was in Guate. I am looking forward to the next update!
